Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) became the first venue and the starting point (kick-off) for the Book Talk Roadshow Elephant Learns Flamenco: Agile SOEs Dancing Toward Golden Indonesia 2045. The event took place on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. In this inaugural session, the discussion centered on the theme Tourism Ecosystem & Collaboration, highlighting the strategic role of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in developing the national tourism ecosystem and cross-sector collaboration to help Indonesia achieve developed nation status by 2045.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, the Director of Poltekpar Bali, emphasized that as an educational institution in the field of tourism, Bali Tourism Polytechnic is committed to nurturing future leaders who not only understand the intricacies of the tourism industry but also care about environmental sustainability and social welfare.

The book Elephant Learns Flamenco, written by Yuswohady, describes and analyzes the journey and strategies of SOEs in realizing the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, focusing on the leadership of Erick Thohir and the AKHLAK values embraced by SOEs.

This roadshow not only served as a book launch but also as a platform for strategic discussions about the future of Indonesian tourism, one of the key pillars in achieving Golden Indonesia 2045. The event featured expert speakers, including Herdy Harman (HR & Digital Director of InJourney), Enny Kristiani (Director of Human Capital & Corporate Service), Yuswohady (author of the ELF book), and I Wayan Suksma Winarya Prabawa (Vice Director III & Tourism Destination Lecturer at Poltekpar Bali).
