Bali Tourism Polytechnic Conducts Community Service through FB Service Improvement Socialization in Keliki Tourism Village - Gianyarm
radarbali.jawapos.com - The Community Service Program of the Hospitality Management Study Program (PPH) at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar) was held on May 31, 2024, in Keliki Village, Gianyar Regency.
This event, with the theme “Green Accommodation Socialization and FB Service Improvement Training in Keliki Tourism Village, Gianyar Regency,” aims to fulfill the Three Pillars of Higher Education in the field of community service.
The expected outcomes of this activity are increased community awareness based on green program implementation in accommodation in Keliki Tourism Village, increased community participation in sustainable tourism practices through green accommodation, and enhanced community skills in FB service in terms of service speed and understanding of food and beverage products in Keliki Village. The Community Service activity was officially opened by the Vice Director I of Bali Tourism Polytechnic, Dr. I Gusti Agung Gede Witarsana, S.ST.Par., MM., CHE, symbolically by pinning training participant badges to two representative training participants.
In his speech, Vice Director I expressed his gratitude to the Head of Keliki Tourism Village for facilitating and supporting the PkM activities of the PPH Study Program, allowing the activities to run well and positively impacting the development of Keliki Tourism Village.
The Coordinator of the Hospitality Management Study Program, Ni Made Suastini, SE., MM., CHE, also reported that the purpose of this activity is a follow-up from the previous cooperation through an MOU, and expressed thanks to the Head of Keliki Tourism Village for synergizing, collaborating, and working together to develop Bali tourism, especially in Keliki Tourism Village, for providing sustainable community service. Also present and giving a speech was the Head of Keliki Tourism Village, I Ketut Wita, S.Ag, who highly appreciated this Community Service activity with green accommodation socialization and FB service training. He hoped that this training would improve the future development of Keliki Tourism Village, with the involvement of all parties, including managers, the government, and academics who participated in this training activity.
