February 10, 2025 – The academic community of Politeknik Pariwisata Bali participated in a Guest Lecture for the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year, held in a hybrid format.
The Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Mrs. Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, @widi.wardhana, officially opened the guest lecture and delivered a presentation on the topic "Balancing Adventure and Well-Being: Sustainable Marine and Wellness Tourism."
In her presentation, Mrs. Widiyanti explained that Marine and Wellness Tourism is a fundamental aspect that must be developed in an integrated manner. Sustainable tourism ensures that tourism activities not only provide economic benefits but also preserve environmental sustainability and social-cultural well-being.
During the lecture, the Minister also introduced the Ministry of Tourism's 2025 Programs, which include: (1) Clean Tourism Movement, (2) Tourism 5.0, (3) Upgrading Tourism, (4) Events with Indonesian Intellectual Property, and (5) Strengthening Village Tourism.
Before concluding her presentation, the Minister shared an important message with the students of Poltekpar Bali:
"You will not only be industry players, but also agents of change who bring innovation and solutions to the challenges of modern tourism."
