Strengthen the Role of Women in the Asian and Pacific Tourism Sector
In the Women Ministers' Roundtable Discussion session, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy @angelatanosoedibjo reiterated the importance of strengthening female human resources in the tourism sector

Ms. Darany Phommavongsa, Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Lao People's Democratic Republic
Ms. Mariyam Nasheetha Nasheed, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Tourism, Maldives
Ms. Sonja Hunter, Director, Smart Investments Ltd, Samoa/Former CEO, Samoa Tourism Authority
Apart from that, the panelists also shared their experiences as female leaders in the tourism sector in their countries
It is hoped that this session will inspire participants to continue to encourage the creation of an inclusive ecosystem in the Asian and Pacific tourism sector
