Ready to present an international event, Bali Polytechnic is holding cross-cultural communication training in Panji Village
Buleleng, October 1-2, 2024 – Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) once again conducted a Community Service Program (PKM) in Panji Tourism Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali, as part of its ongoing efforts to support local tourism development. In this fourth phase, the focus was on Cross-Cultural Communication Skills Training to support event management in the village, including the flagship event, Panji Festival.
The training, held on October 1-2, 2024, at the Panji Village Hall, was attended by Jro Mangku Made Ariawan, S.S.T.Par., MBA, the Head of Panji Village, accompanied by Ni Made Ari Cahyanti, Chairwoman of the Panji Village PKK Team. The event also featured speakers from Poltekpar Bali and Mpu Kuturan State Hindu College (STAHN), Singaraja. A total of 30 participants, including village officials, the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), MSME entrepreneurs, and local tourism operators such as accommodation and restaurant owners, took part in the training.
In his speech, Jro Mangku Made Ariawan expressed his appreciation for the continued support from Poltekpar Bali in accelerating the development of Panji Village. He noted that after several PKM programs, activities have now reached the implementation stage, where the materials provided will soon be applied by tourism village managers, MSMEs, and environmental preservation programs like TPS-3R and education on forest and water resource conservation.
