Poltekpar Bali's D4 Convention and Event Management Program Hosts Guest Lecture with Prof. David Hind
On Thursday, October 30, 2024, the D4 Convention and Event Management Program (Prodi PKA) at Politeknik Pariwisata Bali held a special guest lecture featuring Prof. David Hind, President of the APIEM Academy. The event provided a valuable opportunity for third- and fifth-semester students of the program to receive insights directly from Prof. David on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Event industry.
Held in the Theater Room of the Postgraduate Building, the lecture aimed to introduce students to the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology within the context of the MICE industry in Bali. Through relevant materials and compelling case studies, the session focused on helping students grasp the potential, challenges, and opportunities presented by AI in designing and executing more innovative, efficient, and impactful events.
