Poltekpar Bali Welcomes Students Back with the First Lecture of the Odd Semester for the 2024/2025 Academic Year

Nusa Dua, February 3, 2025 – Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) welcomed back students from semesters 3, 5, and 7 for the First Lecture of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The first lecture is a regular event held before the new semester begins. The First Lecture for the even semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year is being held from February 3 to February 7, 2025.

The holiday break has ended, and Poltekpar Bali students are now preparing to gain knowledge and enhance their skills at the Padma Campus through the First Lecture of the even semester for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The event was officially opened by the Director of Poltekpar Bali, Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Joop Ave Hall, Poltekpar Bali. In his speech, Dr. Puja encouraged students to be more active and proactive in their learning.

"Students should not just be listeners, but be critical, ask questions, engage in discussions, and share ideas," said Dr. Puja. He also expressed his hope that Poltekpar Bali students would not only excel academically but also develop personalities that reflect the noble values of the Indonesian nation. This aligns with Poltekpar Bali’s vision to produce outstanding and professional generations with a strong sense of national identity.

The first lecture event is being held both in-person and online. Students from the Out-of-Campus Study Program (PSDKU) in Manado and Sragen are also participating in the event online. Meanwhile, hundreds of Poltekpar Bali students from all study programs have filled the Joop Ave Hall since 07:30 WITA.

The event began with student attendance according to their respective study programs. The program included a welcome speech from the Director of Poltekpar Bali, academic information, lectures, and additional academic information for each study program. On the first day, Poltekpar Bali invited a speaker from the Bali Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob), Mr. I Putu Gede Semarabawa, who delivered a lecture on national insight.

The agenda for the First Lecture of the Even Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year will continue for the next week, featuring external speakers from the tourism and hospitality industry. It is hoped that the first lecture program will provide valuable insights and preparations for Poltekpar Bali students as they embark on their studies in the even semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
