Bali Tourism Polytechnic is increasingly strengthening its position in expanding international collaboration through strategic partnerships with overseas universities.
On Monday, December 16, 2024, the Director of Poltekpar Bali, Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, welcomed a delegation from Westminster International University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Westminster University delegation was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Technology, and Education, Mr. Alisher Pulatov, and Ms. Dildora Karimov, a senior lecturer. This visit marked the first time Westminster University explored collaboration with a campus in Bali, particularly in the field of tourism.
The Vice Director III of Poltekpar Bali, Dr. Luh Yusni Wiarti, A.Par., S.E., M.Par., M.Rech., explained that Poltekpar Bali is a vocational and hospitality-focused institution offering a cultural tourism concept. This aspect piqued the interest of the Westminster University team.
According to Mr. Alisher, there are several collaboration opportunities that could be implemented in the future, including faculty and student exchanges, research and workshops, internships, and discussions about the potential establishment of an Indonesian Center at Westminster University.
It is hoped that the dynamic collaboration between Poltekpar Bali and Westminster University will bring positive benefits to both parties and provide the best services for students, enhancing the quality of education and skill development opportunities.
