"This technical training is expected to provide an opportunity for civil servants to master basic tourism concepts, knowledge about tourist destinations, the tourism industry, tourism marketing, human resources and institutions, as well as the development of information technology as a provision to become good facilitators, dynamizers, and regulators," he said.
The participants, involved both in-person and virtually, included 10 civil servants from the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy of East Nusa Tenggara Province, 10 from the Department of Tourism of Kupang City, and 10 from the Department of Tourism and Creative Economy of West Manggarai Regency.
