"Poltekpar Bali Encourages Sangiran Tourist Village to Optimize Management and Promotion."

**Sragen, Central Java** – On October 11-12, 2024, managers of Sangiran Tourist Village in Sragen Regency, Central Java, participated in an advanced training program focused on developing management and marketing skills. This training is part of a series of programs that have been implemented previously and received positive feedback from participants and stakeholders.

The Head of Community Service (PKM), Matius Tinna Sarira, A.Md, S.S., M.Hum, emphasized the importance of this training in addressing the challenges of tourism globalization and digital transformation. “The aim of this third training session is to evaluate the effectiveness of previous trainings and to deepen the material covered, particularly in sustainable tourism management and the promotion of tourist villages,” stated Matius.

The two-day training utilized an interactive workshop format. Participants not only gained theoretical knowledge but also engaged in discussions of real cases and practical exercises in the field. A total of 30 participants, consisting of tourist village managers and local business actors, attended the training.

“With this activity, we hope to foster a strong collaboration between tourist village managers and local businesses. This collaboration will enable more effective promotion of the tourist village, including products from MSMEs and service providers, through social media. Additionally, we expect this initiative to expand market reach, increase tourist visits, and strengthen the branding of Sangiran Tourist Village as a premier destination,” expressed Narno, S.M, Head of Krikilan Village.

Participants appreciated the program and expressed hope that the knowledge gained would be effectively applied in the field. “We are grateful for this training. With this program, we feel more prepared and confident in managing our tourist village, as well as better understanding how to market our destination to keep it vibrant and growing,” said one participant.

It is anticipated that this training will positively impact the development of tourism in Sangiran Tourist Village, while also contributing to the advancement of tourism in Sragen Regency as a whole. With better management, more effective promotion, and a heightened awareness of the importance of cultural preservation, Sangiran Tourist Village is expected to continue attracting both domestic and international tourists while preserving its cultural heritage.
