Poltekpar Bali Collaborates with Tomohon Tourism Office for Community Service Program on Sustainable Tourism
Tomohon, October 24, 2024 – The Collaborative Community Service Program (PKM) organized by Politeknik Pariwisata Bali in partnership with the Tomohon City Tourism Office officially kicked off today. The theme of this initiative is "Developing Hospitality Human Resources to Support Sustainable Tourism Management in Tomohon." This program aims to enhance the quality of human resources (HR) in the tourism sector and empower local women as agents of change for sustainable tourism development.
The opening ceremony was marked by a welcoming speech from Judisthira A.K. Siwu, Head of the Tomohon City Tourism Office, who emphasized the importance of improving HR quality to support the advancement of sustainable tourism in Tomohon. "With the right skills and understanding, tourism industry players, especially women, will be able to provide excellent service and attract more tourists to Tomohon," he said.
This collaborative effort is expected to significantly contribute to the empowerment of local women and the development of the tourism sector in a sustainable manner.
