Poltekpar Bali and PWI Pamekasan Sign MoU for the Advancement of Madura Tourism
KABARMADURA.ID | Pamekasan — The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of Pamekasan has entered into a collaboration with the Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali). This partnership was marked by the signing of a contract between the two parties at the Azana Style Hotel Pamekasan on Monday, October 2, 2023.
Hairul Anam, Chairman of PWI Pamekasan, emphasized that the essence of this partnership with Poltekpar Bali is to advance tourism in Madura Island.
"We know that Bali is the world’s tourism hub. We are very grateful that PWI Pamekasan was chosen by Poltekpar Bali to collaborate in advancing tourism in Indonesia, particularly on Madura Island," explained Anam.
An alumnus of the Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk-Guluk, Sumenep, Anam explained that Poltekpar Bali is a vocational higher education institution under the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) of Indonesia. It has the authority and responsibility to establish and implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education policies.
Ketut Adhi Astawan, Head of the Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation at Poltekpar Bali, explained that the intention behind the partnership program with PWI Pamekasan is to make PWI Pamekasan one of Poltekpar Bali's partners in disseminating information to realize the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
"The aim is to enhance access, quality, and relevance of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in education and teaching, research, and community service. It also aims to provide information and dissemination through media channels to realize the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education."
He further explained that the MoU includes the provision of information and dissemination through media channels, focusing on education, research, and publication.
"This includes community service, logo inclusion in activities that align with interests and agreements," he concluded.
