Politeknik Pariwisata Bali Welcomes Delegation from Saudi Arabia's Ministry
On Friday, October 25, 2024, Politeknik Pariwisata Bali (Poltekpar Bali) received a visit from a delegation of the Saudi Arabian Ministry represented by:
Dr. Abeer Alamri (Executive Director of Quality and Evaluation)
Mohammed Albalawi (Director of Parameters and Academic Tools)
Abdulmajeed Alomar (Senior Expert)
Bayan Alghamdi (Evaluation Expert)
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, Director of Poltekpar Bali, along with key management members including Vice Directors I and III, heads of ADAK and ADUM departments, and the BiTP Global unit head.
This visit marked the initial stage of potential collaboration between Poltekpar Bali and the Saudi Ministry regarding human resource (HR) development in the tourism and hospitality sectors. According to Dr. Abeer Alamri, Poltekpar Bali has an excellent reputation for producing professionals in the tourism and hospitality fields. She also highlighted opportunities for collaboration not only in workforce development but also in curriculum development, scholarships, student exchanges, research, and quality assurance in education.
The Director of Poltekpar Bali expressed gratitude and enthusiasm for the collaboration opportunity, affirming the institution’s readiness to support and implement joint initiatives.
After discussions, the delegation was given a tour of Poltekpar Bali, concluding their visit at the Hotel Kamala Bali Resort and Spa. This potential partnership is expected to bring positive impacts to the hospitality and tourism sectors of both countries.
