Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, addressed all LO officers for the "2nd UN Tourism Regional Conference on the Empowerment of Women in Tourism in Asia and the Pacific" at the Widyatula MICE Building, Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Saturday, April 27, 2024).

A total of 50 top students from various study programs at Bali Tourism Polytechnic received direct instructions from the Minister on providing excellent service in welcoming and assisting delegates from various countries attending the conference.

Previously, all LO officers had received training on protocol to give them a deeper understanding of serving international guests.

The conference will be held in Bali from May 2-4, 2024, and aims to enhance the role of women in the development of tourism. This event is also expected to create a multiplier effect for the tourism industry, particularly in Bali.
