Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Together with the Bali Tourism Polytechnic Hold Dharma Santi Nyepi for the 1946 Caka New Year
Nusa Dua – The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency of the Republic of Indonesia held the Dharma Santi Nyepi activity, Çaka New Year 1946 on Thursday, March 28 2024. This activity collaborated with the Bali Tourism Polytechnic as one of the Tourism Polytechnics under the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf RI. Dharma Santi Nyepi Çaka New Year 1946 was held after all the series of Nyepi ceremonies including Melasti, Tawur, Catur Brata and Ngembak Geni. This activity is an event for Simakrama (Gathering) to build harmony both internally and between religious communities, especially within the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf.
Apart from being part of the Holy Day of Nyepi in Çaka 1946, Dharma Santi activity is a momentum to strengthen ties for the extended family of Bina Rohani Hindu (Binrohin) within the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf RI. Not only Binrohin, there were also the Islamic Spiritual Development Management (Binrohis) and the Christian Spiritual Development Management (Binrohkris) within the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Dharma Santi’s activities have the theme ‘Sat Cit Ananda for Advanced Indonesia’ which is adapted to the theme of the National Simakrama, namely ‘Sat Cit Ananda Indonesia Jaya’ on April 28 2024.
Dharma Santi Nyepi activities for Çaka 1946 began with reading Sloka and Balinese Dance (Rejang Pakuluh). The agenda continued with remarks from the Sesmenparekraf/Sestama Baparekraf who is also the Hindu Spiritual Advisor of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Mrs. Giri Adnyani as well as remarks from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of Baparekraf RI, Sandiaga Uno. In his speech, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of Baparekraf appreciated the 2024 Dharma Santi activities. The main activity, namely Dharma Wacana, was presented by a resource person who is an Intermediate Expert Counselor, Bangli Regency Ministry of Religion Office, Mr. I Wayan Sudarma, S.Ag., M.Si (Jero Mangku Danu).
It is hoped that Dharma Santi activities within the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy can continue to be implemented and continue to innovate in order to strengthen ties between Hindus within the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Baparekraf RI.
