lecturers from Bali Tourism Polytechnic participated in an Intensive Training on Writing Scientific Articles for International Journals Indexed in Scopus
Jakarta, November 24 – 26, 2024 – A number of lecturers from Bali Tourism Polytechnic participated in an Intensive Training on Writing Scientific Articles for International Journals Indexed in Scopus. The event, held over three days at Amaris Hotel Pancoran, Jakarta, was organized by the Research and Community Service Center (P3M) of Poltekpar Bali in collaboration with Rumah Scopus. A total of 22 lecturers from Poltekpar Bali attended the training.
The Research and Community Service Center of Poltekpar Bali holds a significant responsibility in enhancing the quality of research and scientific publications within the institution. In this era of globalization and digitalization, internationally recognized scientific publications are crucial for improving the credibility and reputation of the institution. Publications indexed in reputable databases such as Scopus not only enhance the institution’s reputation but also contribute to the broader dissemination of knowledge.
This training aimed to improve the capacity and competence of lecturers in writing high-quality scientific articles suitable for publication in Scopus-indexed journals. A comprehensive range of topics was covered, starting from an introduction to Scopus, topic and title determination, digital writing, understanding author guidelines, to paper finalization. By participating in the Intensive Training on Writing Scientific Articles for International Journals Indexed in Scopus, it is expected that the lecturers’ competence in writing and publishing scientific articles in reputable international journals will increase. This will make a significant contribution to achieving Poltekpar Bali's target for Scopus-indexed scientific publications and support the development of knowledge and technology in the field of tourism
