The Bali Tourism Polytechnic Hospitality Accounting Management Study Program successfully held Accounting Talk 2024 on Friday, August 16th 2024.

The theme raised at the 2024 Accounting Talk International Webinar was Minimizing Food Waste in Hospitality: An Accounting and Finance Perspective. Present as a speaker was Eko Muh. Romi Kurniawan, S.E., M.Tr.Par (Regional Controller East Indonesia), Dr. Bungon Sawatsuk (Assistant Professor at University of Phayao, Thailand), Okky Friestama, S.E., M.Tr.Par. (Director of Finance at Bali Beach Hotel and The Meru Sanur), Dr. Anderson Ngelambong (Coordinator of Bachelor Degree Program Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management at UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Malaysia) moderated by Dr. Drs. I Ketut Surata, M.Sc., CHE (Lecturer at Bali Tourism Polytechnic).

By carrying out this activity, it is hoped that we will gain in-depth insight into how food waste has an impact on the hospitality industry and what innovative strategies can be used to overcome it
