Bali Tourism Polytechnic welcomed the delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for a deeper introduction between the two institutions and discussions regarding the implementation of cooperation.
Director of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic greeted the JICA Headquarters Tokyo and Indonesia teams. During the welcoming speech, Takafumi Ueda, Senior Advisor at JICA Headquarters Tokyo, expressed JICA's enthusiasm for collaborating with Bali Tourism Polytechnic. "We sincerely hope that this collaboration will contribute to the development of human resources in the tourism sector, especially as hospitality workers in Japan," Ueda remarked.
During this meeting, JICA also outlined a program concept called the Tourism Human Resource and Circulation Project, which consists of five components: research, curriculum, international cooperation, career support, and the enhancement of Japanese language proficiency.
