Bali Tourism Polytechnic through the Culinary Arts Study Program (SKU), organized a Community Service (PkM) activity in Angseri Village, Tabanan Regency, focusing on the development of local culinary products based on 'kecombrang' or 'wild ginger' and 'rebung' or 'bamboo shoots' as competitive flagship culinary products. The event, held over two days, from April 10 to 11, 2025, was attended by 30 local participants, including farmers, MSME practitioners, and housewives.

This activity also introduced the application of ‘green culinary skills,’ which include efficient use of ingredients, food waste management, and sustainable approaches to local food processing.

Based on satisfaction survey results, 95.7 percent of participants expressed high satisfaction with the event and recommended that similar training be held again, with a focus on environmentally friendly packaging.

Through this initiative, BiTP reaffirms its commitment as a vocational education institution that not only produces graduates but also actively supports communities in the development of locally-based innovations.
