Karangasem, 5 September 2024 – The Bali Tourism Polytechnic Tourism Business Study Program (UPW) successfully held a Community Service (PkM) activity entitled "Training on Tourism Village Development through Digitalization and Tourism Product Innovation in Sibetan Village, Banyakdem District, Karangasem Regency" in the village Sibetan, Uangdem District, Karangasem Regency. This activity lasts for two days, from 5 to 6 September 2024. This PkM activity is an implementation of Cooperation (MOA) between Sibetan Village and the Bali Tourism Polytechnic, especially the Travel Business Study Program. Participants in this activity consisted of Pokdarwis of Sibetan village, managers of tourism service providers and the community of Sibetan village, totaling 30 people.

This event was officially opened by the Director of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic who was represented by the Secretary of the Center for Research and Community Service, Mrs. Ni Made Tirtawati, S.Sc., M.Par, after a report from the Chair of the PkM Activities Committee, Mrs. Putu Ayu Aryasih, SE., M.Par., CEE., CHE. This opening was attended by the Village Head and Sibetan village officials, the Sibetan Village community, Lecturers and Students of the Travel Business Study Program.
