Bali Tourism Polytechnic Holds Training on Creating Tour Packages and Excellent Service for Tourism-aware Communities in Kenderan Tourism Village - Gianyar

GIANYAR, radarbali.jawapos.com - The Tourism Travel Business Study Program (UPW) at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic successfully conducted a Community Service (PkM) activity titled "Training on Creating Tour Packages and Excellent Service for Tourism-Aware Communities" in Kenderan Tourism Village, Tegalalang District, Gianyar Regency. This event took place over two days, from June 10 to 11, 2024.

The event was officially opened by the Director of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic, represented by the Head of the Research and Community Service Center, Dr. Putu Diah Sastri Pitanatri, S.ST.Par., M.Par, following the report from the PkM Activity Committee Chairperson, Ni Ketut Wiwiek Agustina, S.E., M.Par., CHE. The opening ceremony was attended by the people of Kenderan Village, lecturers and students of the Tourism Travel Business Study Program, and Kenderan Village officials.

On the first day, the event began with participant registration, followed by the opening ceremony led by Dr. Putu Diah Sastri Pitanatri, S.ST.Par., M.Par.
After the opening, the first training session started with a presentation on the potential of Kenderan Tourism Village as a sustainable tour package product by Putu Evi Wijayanti, S.E., M.Par., CEE., CHE.
This session was followed by a SWOT analysis of the potential of Kenderan Tourism Village by Dr. Lukia Zuraida, S.Pd., M.Hum., and practical sessions on developing sustainable tour package products, again led by Putu Evi Wijayanti, S.E., M.Par., CEE., CHE.

The second day was filled with sessions on excellent service in handling rural tour packages by Made Darmiati, S.Sn., M.Si., as well as practical foreign language training for handling rural tour packages, guided by Made Artajaya, S.Pd., M.Si., and Drs. Teguh Hadisukarno, M.Par. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to participants in recognition of their participation.

The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Kenderan Village community in creating sustainable tour packages and providing excellent service to tourists. It is hoped that this training will better prepare and equip the Kenderan Village community to manage their tourism potential effectively and provide memorable experiences for visitors.
