Poltekpar Bali's Entrepreneurship Building to Strengthen Tourism and Creative Economy Workforce
TRIBUN-BALI.COM, MANGUPURA – Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno attended the Topping Off Ceremony for the Entrepreneurship Building at Poltekpar Bali on Tuesday (10/10/2023).
Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno stated that the new building and its facilities will enhance the readiness of Poltekpar Bali graduates as skilled tourism human resources and entrepreneurs who can create business opportunities and jobs.
"This entrepreneurship or business center will strengthen the presence of human resources in tourism and the creative economy," said Menparekraf Sandiaga.
Furthermore, Sandiaga explained that the new Poltekpar Bali facility will serve as a creative space for students to exchange ideas and create opportunities, particularly in entrepreneurship and job creation.
Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno encouraged students to focus on generating ideas that lead to opportunities in the green economy sector, aligning with Indonesia's tourism vision and mission of quality and sustainable tourism. With this focus, Sandiaga stated that Poltekpar Bali will continue to assert its position as a world-class tourism college.
"We want the epicenter of green tourism to be at Poltekpar Bali, and the hope is that when the world talks about investment in the green economy, they will remember Poltekpar Bali as its hub," said Sandiaga. Director of Poltekpar Bali, Ida Bagus Putu Puja, explained that the Entrepreneurship Building and integrated services will become a growth space for student innovation in creating business opportunities. The building is built by implementing the concept of green campus considering sustainable environment.
