Denpasar, August 19, 2024 – Bali Tourism Polytechnic (Poltekpar Bali) is participating in a collaborative event organized by the Bali Provincial Government to support Bali's development through an educational exhibition at the Bali Development Festival (BDF) 2024 at the Art Centre, Denpasar. This exhibition is part of the celebrations for the 66th Anniversary of Bali Province.

Poltekpar Bali’s involvement in BDF 2024 represents a tangible collaboration between Poltekpar Bali and the Bali Provincial Government. "In line with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy's programs of innovation, adaptation, and collaboration, Poltekpar Bali is participating in BDF 2024 as a step to support Bali’s development in terms of superior and professional tourism human resources," said Ida Bagus Putu Puja, Director of Poltekpar Bali. This event provides Poltekpar Bali with the opportunity to introduce itself as a state-run higher education institution under the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf RI), focusing on vocational education in tourism and hospitality.

"Poltekpar Bali is very proud and grateful to be invited to BDF 2024 because it allows us to showcase Poltekpar Bali as an educational institution capable of producing Bali’s youth who are professional in the tourism and hospitality industry. Additionally, we are also featuring student entrepreneurship products from our Entrepreneurship Student Association (UKM Kewirausahaan) and STPreneur," said Dr. Luh Yusni Wiarti, Deputy Director III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation. Various entrepreneurial products are displayed, including student-made food and beverages, knitted products, nail art services, and more. Poltekpar Bali students use this opportunity to receive feedback and suggestions regarding their displayed business products.

The Bali Development Festival 2024 not only serves as a promotional platform but also strengthens Poltekpar Bali's collaboration with various stakeholders involved in tourism human resource development, including the government, business world, industry, and other educational institutions. Poltekpar Bali continues to strive to be a part of every Bali Provincial Government program for the development and advancement of Bali, especially in the tourism sector.

Bali Development Festival 2024 opened on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, and will run for 6 days until Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Art Centre, Denpasar. The exhibition is open to visitors from various backgrounds, including government officials, students, and the general public, who can also enjoy other exhibition stands from district governments, agencies, and educational institutions.

Poltekpar Bali hopes that participating in the Bali Development Festival 2024 will sharpen its work ethos in innovation, adaptation, and collaboration to produce superior and professional young people in the field of tourism.
