Poltekpar Bali Begins Celebrating 46th Anniversary Series
MANGUPURA, NusaBali.com – Politeknik Pariwisata Bali (Poltekpar Bali) is celebrating its 46th anniversary with enthusiasm and joy. The opening ceremony, attended by all lecturers, staff, and students of Poltekpar Bali, was held festively in the Joop Ave Hall at Poltekpar Bali on Friday (22/3/2024).
The theme for the 46th anniversary is "Through the 46th Anniversary of Bali Tourism Polytechnic, we enhance the spirit of collaboration in diversity for sustainable and excellent tourism with Indonesian personality," with the tagline "Move together, Celebrate joy."
The mascot representing the spirit of the 46th anniversary is 'Si Pico,' a peacock symbolizing the grandeur and wisdom of knowledge. The spirit of collaboration in diversity is demonstrated through various activities, including blood donation, cheerful Friday, as well as academic, cultural, and sports competitions culminating in the Peak of the 46th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday (28/3/2024).
In his speech, the Director of Bali Tourism Polytechnic, Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, MKes, expressed his pride in the institution's achievements over the past year. "Poltekpar Bali is getting closer to its envisioned goals, as evidenced by the achievements of our students both nationally and internationally," he said.
Putu Puja also mentioned the capacity-building of lecturers through various training programs in Switzerland and Nepal, as well as an increasing number of lecturers obtaining doctoral degrees. "The improvement in the SINTA score also increasingly demonstrates the productivity of lecturers in scientific works that can benefit the academic community and the wider society," he added.
Before the opening ceremony, the declaration of eight study programs at Poltekpar Bali was an equally significant moment. Representatives from each study program enthusiastically expressed their readiness to enliven the series of the 46th Anniversary. The event also featured the handing over of the Rotating Trophy to the Director of Poltekpar Bali from the Coordinator of the Hotel Management Study Program (PPH) as the Overall Champion of the 45th Anniversary.
With the official opening of the 46th Anniversary Celebration, a series of activities began, such as internal competitions, workshops, the Final Jegeg Bagus Poltekpar Bali, and Wonderful Night. The spirit of collaboration and joy is the main driver in celebrating this historic moment for the Bali Tourism Polytechnic.
