Bali Tourism Polytechnic Signs MoU with Blue Bird and Headway Testing Centre
Nusa Dua - The Language Service Unit of Bali Tourism Polytechnic continues to strive for excellence not only for its own students but also for the broader community. This commitment was underscored by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Bali Tourism Polytechnic and two other institutions, namely Blue Bird and PT Heksa Adhitek Wayatama (Headway Testing Centre).
The MoU signing took place at the Multipurpose Hall of Bali Tourism Polytechnic on Monday, June 10, 2024. Present at the event was Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, ST., M.Kes., the Director of Bali Tourism Polytechnic. In his address, Putu Puja expressed positive feedback regarding the efforts of the Language Service Unit at Bali Tourism Polytechnic in collaborating with other educational institutions. The Director also extended gratitude to Blue Bird and Headway Testing Centre, expressing hope that this collaboration would continue to enhance the quality of education in their respective institutions.
Previously, the Language Service Unit at Bali Tourism Polytechnic collaborated with Blue Bird Bali through a Community Service (PKM) initiative, providing English language education and training to Blue Bird drivers over a one-month period. Additionally, in partnership with Headway Testing Centre, the Language Service Unit conducted an English Proficiency Test aimed at evaluating the English language skills of Bali Tourism Polytechnic students as a means of assessment and benchmarking their proficiency levels.
The MoU signing ceremony, conducted in person, saw representatives from Blue Bird, including Dr. I Putu Gede Panca Wiadnyana (General Manager Bali Lombok PT. Praja Bali Transportasi), and from Headway Testing Centre, Willibrordus Surya (President Director of PT Heksa Adhitek Wayatama), jointly participating. It is hoped that this MoU marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration that will benefit all parties involved.
