As an institution specializing in tourism and hospitality, with a focus on cultural tourism as its institutional branding, Bali Tourism Polytechnic (BiTP) is committed to the preservation of Balinese and Indonesian culture. One of the initiatives undertaken is to transform the campus into a cultural gallery, providing access for the entire academic community and the public to cultural exhibitions and preservation efforts.

Bali is renowned for its painting and carving arts. Therefore, the BiTP campus is designed to resemble an art gallery, with every corner showcasing collections of paintings, sculptures, and carvings by local Balinese and Indonesian artists. As a testament to BiTP’s commitment to cultural preservation, Plaza Saraswati was established, featuring a landmark statue of Dewi Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge in Hindu mythology, crafted by a Balinese artist. Additionally, the Watugunung Amphitheatre was constructed with traditional Balinese architecture, serving as an ideal venue for traditional and contemporary dance and performing arts.

Regularly, BiTP holds a blessing ceremony, which is a Balinese Hindu tradition. Beyond being a religious ceremony, this event serves as a platform for art and cultural preservation, encompassing traditional Balinese dance, music, vocal arts, and decorative arts.
